As the granddaughter of the family, this customer had an idea to honor her late grandfather, aka “Pistol Pete,” last Father’s Day with custom camo t-shirts for the whole family. They gathered in their private cemetery in Mt. Herman, Louisiana, to “show that shirts can be used for anything… including a celebration of life.” Since last year’s gathering, she has already organized a Group Order Form and ordered new camo shirts for Father’s Day 2016.

Our friends at Booster are celebrating kids all month long with their B-Cause: Kids program, so to jump on board, we’re highlighting standout kids (or teens) of our own – all of whom recently submitted their stories to our Ink of the Week photo contest!

stay_goldStaying Gold

Tyler and his classmates traveled to Tijuana, Mexico, during their spring break to build homes for families in need. With them, they brought their gold, foil ink t-shirts to wear while building. They had a few extras to spare, so they gave out shirts to some of the kids for whom they were building houses (look closely and you’ll see seven-year-old, Kevin, lounging among some of the teens).

Youth members of Jacksonville’s Believers in Christ Christian Center are “feeding bodies and restoring souls” (slogan from the back of their t-shirts). Recently, they took to the streets of downtown Jacksonville to give hygiene supplies, food, clothes, and prayers to the homeless in the community. The volunteers’ shirts were such a hit, that those who didn’t get one initially now want one!

Throughout the years, we’ve heard from some truly amazing customers about how their CustomInk orders helped to unite their community and take their event to the next level. To show you some of the communities we’ve touched, we’ve compiled a handful of stories that caught our eye this past month.

This past winter was the inaugural track season for St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes middle schoolers. The group of dedicated 7th and 8th graders who participated took a chance by going out for a team with no indoor facilities. As the season came to a close, the team decided to order special, custom t-shirts to commemorate the season. “The t-shirt went from an idea to a wearable reality in less than a week!”
