Ink of the Week winner

“Playing on the Pitch” wins this week’s Ink of the Week contest!

“We have ordered t-shirts and hoodies for our team for the past 3 years. We are getting ready to make another order as the boys have grown once again and we have added players. The coaches have them and the team managers. We even have parents and siblings that have one. We all love the shirts. We use the shirts for indoor games, scrimmages, parties, everywhere we can.

In September of 2011, we signed the team up to play on the pitch at the D.C. United game vs. Real Salt Lake. Everyone wore their Pirate shirts. We went a few hours early for a tailgate party. We have the ship mast we use as a team flag in the car. The boys took the flag and were playing with it in the parking lot at the stadium. This is the photo we captured. This really shows their personality. We have several more showing their goofy fun spirit. They love being ‘The Pirates’ and the shirt makes it real. They LOVE their shirts.
