Shane’s Future a Days” & “Happy Birthday Cookie!” win this week’s Ink of the Week contest!

Shane's Future a Days

“This is our team photo from the 2014 Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Parkway Run/Walk for pediatric cancer. We walked for my son, Shane. He is 15 months old and fighting stage 4 alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma. This was our first year doing the walk, as he was recently diagnosed in March. We had a fantastic turnout and team comprised of family and friends! CustomInk helped us create a shirt that symbolized our fight for him. We used the shirts to raise a little over $1000 for our team ‘Shane’s Future Days’ donation to CHOP. We couldn’t be happier with the finished product and their supportive design staff.”

Happy Birthday Cookie

“My mama passed away in July of this year after a 17-month-long battle with pancreatic cancer. Her 60th birthday would’ve been September 25th, so we gathered friends and family at our neighborhood park and released 60+ balloons in honor of our ‘Cookie!’ We had shirts for all of our family and friends to wear not only for this occasion, but also for the month of November which is Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month. That is also why we chose the color purple. The front of our shirts have Mom’s favorite Bible Verse on them, and the back has 60, so that we never forget all of the wonderful years we had with her. Our shirts helped us raise money to improve our neighborhood park in honor of my mama, as well as raising awareness about this awful type of cancer, known as the silent killer. ”

CrossFit Hardcore @ The 2014 CrossFit Games

“CrossFit Hardcore @ The 2014 CrossFit Games” wins this week’s Ink of the Week contest!

“Our gym’s team qualified for the 2014 CrossFit Games in Carson, California. We ended up in the top 30 out over 200,000 athletes worldwide. Our athletes had to wear Reebok team apparel for the competitions but we supported them by getting the brightest customized shirts possible from CustomInk- so they could easily see us cheering them on in the stands!! Everyone loved the shirts and apparently ESPN did too because they televised our fans many times!!

Our experience working with CustomInk was top notch. We had an incredibly tough timeframe to deal with and amazingly 2.5 days from placing the order we had our shirts in-hand. The entire team was amazing- from our consultant (Sylvio) who was very supportive and responsive to the design/production team who paid close attention to the details and our design. It was refreshing to deal with a company that really seems to care about your order, can deliver what they promise, and is there to support you every step of the way.

We are fans of CustomInk and have already referred friends.”

Ready to Roll!
“Ready To Roll!” wins this week’s Ink of the Week contest!

“Four years ago we started a charity called Cruise for the Cure where people can travel to fun destinations for low rates all while making a donation to various cancer societies. This year we are taking off for Seattle, WA to embark on a seven day adventure in Alaska with nearly 100 guests who are all receiving this t-shirt! We have raised thousands of dollars since the beginning of our venture. It’s all about making a difference in our community and the lives of people we love. So, here we are, jam packed in a VW Beetle, ready to roll!”

Pueblo Picklers

“The Pueblo Picklers” win this week’s Ink of the Week contest!

“Our song: ‘Pickle, Pickle, Pickle, Pickle we will play—- Pickle, Pickle, Pickle on such a sunny day.’ In Apache Junction, Arizona, there are many sunny days. The Pueblo Picklers are approximately 50 retirees enjoying life and pickleball. The new t-shirts from CustomInk are the latest bonding technique for our group. We thank your friendly website, your customer service enhancement with real people (Ana Sanchez and others), and all the Inkers and shippers. Good work! For those unfamiliar with the sport, it is the fastest growing in the nation as Boomers and others strive to save their knees but still have a fun-filled court experience. Check it out at Thanks, Guys!”

Flocking for a Cure

“Flocking For a Cure” wins this week’s Ink of the Week contest!

“We are Flocking our entire neighborhood to raise funds for Relay For Life and The American Cancer Society. We migrate these pink flamingos from lawn to lawn with a ransom note asking for a donation. If the “victim” makes a $25.00 donation we move it the next “victim” of their choice. People are loving this!!! The kids are enjoying flocking just as much as the “victims” are enjoying the surprise. We love our shirts and working with your company has been an absolute pleasure!!! We had such a great experience that we have already designed a new shirt and campaign that is being launched Monday. I have told everyone about the exceptional customer service I have received. Thank you once again for a wonderful experience.”
