Whether it’s your softball team, department at work, or family reunion, matching your group makes every event feel that much more special. If you’re looking for the best way to order shirts for your group, look no further!” Custom Ink has an easy to use Group Order Form that makes it so simple to collect sizes and payment—all you have to worry about is creating and wearing your one of a kind tee. Ordering t-shirts for your group shouldn’t be hard, check out our top tips to make ordering for your group a breeze.

5 Tips to Make Ordering Group T-shirts Easy

  1. Crowdsource your design
  2. If you’ve got a group of people to order for, then you may have someone with design chops. Ask your group for help coming up with the perfect design. Even if you don’t have an artist on hand, include your group in the process of brainstorming what goes on your t-shirts. Ask for color preferences, what kind of font styles they like, or even what they think the design should say. Everyone in your group will feel like they’re a part of the end result and it’ll take the pressure off you, the organizer.

  3. Create or upload your design
  4. At Custom Ink, we offer an awesome Design Lab that has tons of fonts, and thousands of designs. You can pick your product and create art right in the lab. It’s easy to size, layer, and rotate images as well as modify fonts. But if you’d rather have something that matches your group’s existing logo or look, you can upload something, too. It’s as easy as going into our lab, hitting the “upload” button to the left, and positioning your design on your new gear.

  5. Consider your group when choosing products
  6. We have products for all shapes, sizes, and ages–which is perfect when your group isn’t one size fits all. We proudly offer shirts that come in men’s, women’s, youth, and plus sizes so that you can get the same tee in different fits to keep everyone feeling their best. Check out our Hanes Nano-T or the Bella + Canvas Tri-Blend t-shirt for example. With our Group Order Form (more on that below), you can even pick multiple products to order your design on so everyone can show off their different style.

  7. Set up a Group Order Form
  8. Now for the easiest part of all, collecting your group’s order! We know this is usually the hardest part of the ordering process for groups, so that’s why we created our easy-to-use Group Order Form. We love our Group Order Form because it lets you collect sizes and payments online with a simple form. Just create and save a design and you’re ready to set up the form. Enter your group name and contact info, how many items you expect to order, a close date for your order form, and a delivery option for your shirts. Once it’s live, everyone in your group can place their own orders, find and enter their sizes, pay for their items, and even have them shipped directly to their homes.

Who’s the Group Order Form for?

The Group Order Form was designed with the group organizer in mind. We know how hard it is to get everyone to submit sizes, not to mention the upfront costs for the organizer. The Group Order Form is an excellent alternative to that clipboard sign up sheet because it allows everyone to select their perfect fit and enter their payment. While we designed the Group Order Form for any group, we love how perfect it is for sports teams, clubs, family reunions, Greek life, and so much more!

What else can I do with the Group Order Form?

We’ve talked about the perks of being able to collect sizes and payment, but the Group Order Form also streamlines personalization. Make your group ordering process that much more special but adding names or jersey numbers! The personalization doesn’t stop there though, here are a couple of other great reasons to take advantage of the Group Order Form:

    • Family Reunions: show generations or number the shirts for the grandkids
    • Bachelorette/Bridal Parties: add the bachelorette’s nicknames while making the bride’s shirt special by calling out the Future Mrs. [Last Name]
    • Teams: from sports teams where everyone has a number to that great nickname everyone calls you on your rec league
    • Clubs: add each individual’s years of service for a special touch
    • Greek Life: go custom with new member shirts by adding first and last names, bond numbers, and even graduation years

  9. Have a pickup party
  10. While this isn’t a necessary step, we know it would be a lot of fun. If you choose to have all the shirts in your order shipped to you, throw a little pickup party with your group where everyone gets together ahead of the event – no day of scrambling! Once everyone has their shirt, don’t forget to take pics, y’all!
