For over six years, we’ve been collecting customer stories in our Ink of the Week contest. Throughout the years, we’ve heard from some truly amazing customers about how their CustomInk orders helped to unite their community and take their event to the next level. To show you some of the communities we’ve touched, we’ve compiled a handful of stories that caught our eye this past month.

Miriam’s Hooters is a group of friends and family who participated in Santa Barbara’s “Barbara Ireland Walk & Run for Breast Cancer” earlier this month. Miriam was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and chose to undergo a double mastectomy, so her supporters decided to express their devotion and love with custom t-shirts. The order was such a hit amongst the group that they are already planning a Movember t-shirt order for the fall!

animal_shelter_2Trempealeau County Humane Society

This community-supported animal shelter in Trempealeau County, Wisconsin relies solely on volunteers and community support to keep their organization running. For the past three years, they have ordered t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats & more to outfit their volunteers and to sell at various fundraising events. For their most recent open house event, the group took advantage of complementary styles by ordering 11 different styles with their logo.

Dance for a Cure 2016 occurred just a couple weeks ago in Vancouver, Washington. To prepare for the event, this customer organized an order of custom tank tops and sold them as part of the dance fundraiser. All in all, she raised over $4,500 for Relay for Life, and the order was a huge hit with the participants. She’s already planning her next order!
