Using color to make a statement is one of the oldest tricks in the book. Think neon posters, flashy yellow sports cars, the time I dyed my hair fire engine red in the 9th grade (perhaps not the most flattering shade, but a statement nonetheless)!
A brightly colored shirt can certainly have an impact on your custom designs, but why stop there? Colorblocking t-shirts are a big trend this season when it comes to athletic apparel. Be on the lookout for team gear that features contrast colors for sleeves, stripes, and stitching. You’ll be sure to look great on or off the field.
In addition to looking pretty cool and sporty, colorblocking can really take your logo or design up a notch. You can match your ink colors to the contrasting trim to create a tidy package, or use bright ink colors like hot pink or lime to totally mix it up. So get bold and go with colorblocking…it just may knock your blocks (errr, socks) off!
