Stories To Make You Smile (Dads Edition)
Father’s Day is right around the corner! In honor of dads, step dads, granddads & father-figures everywhere, we’re highlighting a few customers who shared their Father’s Day stories in our Ink of the Week contest.
As the granddaughter of the family, this customer had an idea to honor her late grandfather, aka “Pistol Pete,” last Father’s Day with custom camo t-shirts for the whole family. They gathered in their private cemetery in Mt. Herman, Louisiana, to “show that shirts can be used for anything… including a celebration of life.” Since last year’s gathering, she has already organized a Group Order Form and ordered new camo shirts for Father’s Day 2016.
This customer came to us for custom t-shirts for her and her family to wear on Father’s Day. On that special day, she asked her step dad to officially adopt her, hence the “Family is More Than Blood” slogan. On the back of all the shirts (not pictured) is the name “Lent,” which represents the last name of the family she was adopted into.
The patriarch of the Cristaldi family fancies himself the “Czar” of the family. He calls his wife the “WOC,” which means “Wife of Czar,” and then all of his daughters the minions in his kingdom. To commemorate Father’s Day, these sisters had shirts made sporting their kingdom garb. After passing them out to the family, they attended a brewfest in their home state of Maine.
