CustomInk Giving Tree

November brings falling leaves, lots of food and, of course, Black Friday – the first day of the holiday shopping frenzy! Maybe you’re already in the giving spirit or maybe the bug hasn’t bitten you yet. Or maybe you break out into a cold sweat just thinking about having to buy gifts that your pre-teen nephews might not consider “cool” and, in fact, might call “lame” – gasp!… or maybe that’s just me.

As for the non-panic-stricken Inkers, it’s time to shop for CustomInk’s 5th annual Giving Tree!

Our office displays a Giving Tree the week before Thanksgiving. Team members can pick a present (or several) to buy for the Evans Home for Children in Winchester, VA, a group home for abandoned, abused, and neglected children. Inkers contribute money and gifts to meet the wish lists of all of the amazing kids, their dog, their house parents, the staff, and the house itself. The best part is getting to “meet” the kids by reading their stories – and to watch them grow up over the years!

It’s a chance for Inkers to give a little of themselves and make the holidays so much nicer for these kids. And Inkers truly get as much out of it as the children we are helping!

We’re thankful for the opportunity to give back, to be a part of our customers’ special occasions, and to share all of this with you! Happy almost-time-for-the-holidays, everyone!
