I managed to get this to 3 seconds, but only after it was already laid flat. I have a 3-second fold that doesn’t require laying flat or the space to do so, and it’s how I fold all my shirts. 1) Pick up the shirt, front facing you, pinching with each thumb and forefinger right between the collar and where each sleeve starts. 2) Using your other fingers in front, push to fold the sleeves behind the shirt. This folds both sides of the shirt in, ad well as the sleeves, along basically that same first dotted line indicated in the above instructions. 3) Still holding the sleeves back, lay the bottom of the shirt face down on a surface, anything from a table to the edge of your laundry basket or chair, and lay the top down to meet the bottom. Done! It looks neat and trim and ready to be seen, and since the sleeves are both inside, they won’t flip out when you pick it up.

1. Spread tee front down with sleeves extended and neck at top (away from the folder, in other words).
2. Fold the sleeves ansd about an inch of fabric toward the vertical center of the tee.
3. Fold up from the hem to the desired length. (This method allows you to decide ithe length of the follded shirt.
The shirt is now ready to be placed in a stack. It requires no athletic moves. It can even be done with just one hand,
though it’s faster and neater with two.
This traditional method can be accomplished in about three seconds, not including the time it takes to spread the shirt out. But the cross-hand method also requires the laying out. .
