Ink of the Week Winners

“Cool 21’s Buddy Walk (DSOSN)” and “Coolidge School’s STEM Club for Girls” are the winners of this week’s Ink of the Week contest!

The Cool 21’s, a teen and young adult program in the Down Syndrome Organization of Southern Nevada, walked in memory of their friend Natalie at a recent Team Buddy Walk. To commemorate Natalie, and to walk as a united team, the group ordered custom t-shirts from CustomInk. Everyone wore the shirts with pride and even took a break from the walk to snap this group picture!

Coolidge School’s STEM Club for Girls was established this year by the school’s Technology Integration Specialist. With the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math fields being predominantly dominated by men today, the goal of this club is to let 4th and 5th-grade girls gain experience in these areas in a fun and inspiring environment. Wearing their custom club shirts, the girls partake in creating lava lamps and squishy circuits, coding, etc. They even learned the science behind fabric design and created their own t-shirts!
