Font of the Week — Bodoni
Bodoni was created in 1767 by Italian Typographer Giambattista Bodoni. Giambattista Bodoni found inspiration for this tried and true typeface thanks to French Founder, John Baskerville. Bodoni is an example of an early font that broke from traditional typefaces, instead embracing thick and thin strokes and hairline serifs.
Bodoni is hailed by some as the “most elegant typeface every designed”, which is exactly why we had to feature this timeless font.
Our Font of the Week images are created by Emily Clark, an Expert Production Artist at CustomInk and a self-declared font addict.
