At CustomInk we love custom designs, and a lot of times that includes fonts! What you might not know is that fonts, or typefaces, are created by typographers and are an art form in their own right. We’ve chosen some of our favorite fonts to feature here on our blog.

Interestingly enough, Gill Sans is considered both modern and classical thanks to it’s perfect blend of classic serif types and Roman inscriptions.
Our Font of the Week images are created by Emily Clark, an Expert Production Artist at CustomInk and a self-declared font addict. Font of the Week fuels Emily’s passion to research and learn more about beloved typefaces like Gill Sans. What font should Emily feature next? Sound off in the comments below!
“Forest Lake Drumline” and “Norah’s 11th birthday” are the winners of this week’s Ink of the Week contest!
When the Forest Lake Drumline’s costumes did not arrive in time for their first performance of the year, they excitingly turned to their new custom shirts. They designed the shirts to feature this year’s show theme on the front and all the participant’s names on the back. Costume or t-shirts, you all look sharp!
At Norah’s spa-themed 11th birthday sleepover, she handed out super soft, custom raglans as party favors. The girls loved the shirts and have worn them over and over. Even the moms wanted in on the order!
