I trick or treated right up to the very end, right to that cusp where homeowners started to worry about whether they should open the door to the 6-foot-tall Care Bear standing on their stoop. Last year, I didn’t go…but I did have fun! My friends and I banded together to re-create childhood glee with what is now an annual Halloween Block Party.
We have bobbing for apples, a great costume contest, and spook-tacular treats. So I don’t have to give up wearing costumes after all…which works out well because I don’t know where else I would wear my faux fur bunny suit…and Halloween can continue to be one of my favorite holidays.
If you’re considering a Halloween party, try your hand at branding your soiree with a scary t-shirt for your guests. I suggest using fonts from the scary section for a gothic look, and keywords like “skeleton,” “zombie,” or “ghosts” to find lots of great clipart.
