Stories to Make You Smile (Turkey Day Edition)


Turkey trots, turkey dinners, turkey bowls, oh my! Whether you have an active or a more laid-back Thanksgiving approaching, we can all find something to be thankful for. See the ways in which some of our customers celebrate the holiday in our Ink of the Week photo contest.

 

Family Turkey Trot

The Coomes, Watts, and Wright families hosted their own Thanksgiving Turkey Trot down the George Washington Parkway in Alexandria, Virginia. Due to travel and schedules, the families were unable to sign up for an official race. That didn’t stop their motivation, though! The run was made complete with custom long sleeve t-shirts.

Kahili Turkey Bowl

Pictured is the Kahili family’s 15th annual Thanksgiving flag football game. Whether rain, shine, or mud, this family comes together every Thanksgiving holiday to play a friendly game of football in the backyard. Last year, the “kids” team easily defeated the parents team. Good luck to both teams this year!

5th Annual Fake Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving in October? Why not?! This family has a tough time getting everyone together on the actual Thanksgiving holiday, so they choose to celebrate in October. Better weather, cheaper airfares, and being able to quickly run to the grocery store for forgotten ingredients are just a few reasons why this family is a proponent of an early celebration.

Crowder Family Thanksgiving

For five years running, the Crowder family has celebrated Thanksgiving with custom “Crowder Bowl”  t-shirts. The family grows larger and larger each year, but they always remain united in their custom apparel. During the holiday, the family enjoys football, games, and endless laughs.

Final Thanksgiving in Family Home

Sonja and Bob, the matriarch and patriarch of the Riggs family, sold their family home last year before moving and retiring to North Carolina. To celebrate years of memories, everyone flew in for a final Thanksgiving in the home they grew up in. To commemorate the event, the family celebrated in custom family t-shirts.

Post-meal Workout

After their Thanksgiving meal, this family decided to go for a run/walk within Georgia’s Milk and Honey Farm. This made dessert extra worth it! Everyone staying on the farm for the holiday loved the artwork and quality of the shirts.
