Stories to Make You Smile (Be Good to Each Other Edition)

You may have heard about our sixth annual Be Good to Each Other Campaign, but did you know our customers support anti-bullying efforts all year long? Check out some of the ways our customers take a stand against bullying in our Ink of the Week photo contest.

Nathan Hale High School’s Anti-Bullying Club believes zero-tolerance for bullying is not only a lesson to be taught, but a fundamental attribute of schools. When they needed shirts to wear while traveling and presenting to middle and elementary schools on creating and preserving a bully-free culture, they turned to our friendly staff for help. The shirts were a great conversation starter – students who weren’t in the club before asked about the shirts and many have since joined the club!

anti_bullying_2#ChooseKindness (a Winner!)

This customer’s daughter organized an anti-bullying workshop, titled Choose Kindness, to focus on the dangers of cyber bullying. The event, which was held at a church in the community, attracted the attention of a local police office who came to talk about the state laws in regards to bullying and harassment. Participants of the workshop all received “Choose Kindness” t-shirts.

Teachers at Nightingale Charter School celebrated Unity Day last year by wearing “Bully Free Zone” t-shirts and speaking to their students about the importance of uniting against bullying. They have ordered shirts for Unity Day for the past two years, and most recently ordered class sweatshirts for a larger group.
