For over six years, we’ve been collecting customer stories in our Ink of the Week contest. Throughout the years, we’ve heard from some truly amazing customers about how their CustomInk orders helped to unite their community and take their event to the next level. To show you some of the communities we’ve touched, we’ve compiled a handful of stories that caught our eye this past month.

Rochester Institute of Technology’s swing dance club has a lot of heart. Not only do these Brick City Boppers teach people how to dance, but they host live band dances and organize field trips outside of campus. “The club has grown to be a family, albeit a family of goofballs,” and had a blast showing off their 2016 club t-shirts at a recent photoshoot. The club has been making t-shirts with us for the past three years to commemorate each year.

Basketball, beer, monster cookies – oh my! For seven years, this customer and his friends and family have been getting “really into” the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament. The first weekend of the tournament, they all take off work and set up four TV’s in the living room to binge watch the games. This year, they upped their game with custom t-shirts in a range of colors and sizes

IMG_1408Al’s 90th Birthday

All 15 members of the Sopher family gathered in Sarasota, Florida last month to celebrate Al’s (aka Poppop) 90th birthday. Al was an usher for the Baltimore Orioles for 33 years, so to celebrate his big day, the family traveled to the Orioles’ spring training to attend a couple of games. His granddaughters got together and designed custom hats to surprise the family with on the trip.
