Ink of the Week Winners

“Operation Full Pantry” and “United As One” are the winners of this week’s Ink of the Week contest!

Operation Full Pantry is a volunteer-led food drive serving the men, women, and children of Houma, Louisiana who are in need. Every year they choose a different organization to receive the donated food items. This year 4 local charities were chosen and they were so thankful for the generous donation! With the help of the Group Order Form, people could purchase and pay for their shirts online. The size of this group shows how many people came together for a great cause!

Coming together as one is what M.E.C.H.A. club is all about. This club believes in showing love for their culture, or “cultura”, by sharing it with the community. These shirts serve as a symbol of unity and culture. They are pictured at the center of San Diego’s Chicano Park where many sacred Aztec dances take place.
