Ink of the Week Winners

“No One Fights Alone” and “A Piece of My HEART Lives in HEAVEN” are the winners of this week’s Ink of the Week contest!

Every year, this family draws names at Christmas time for someone to make and present a homemade gift to everyone. When Victoria was chosen, she decided to make custom t-shirts to represent the strength and resilience her family showed during two family members’ battles with cancer. The shirts were coined with “Team Hurlbert – No One Fights Alone.”

This past summer, Meghan Garrity sadly lost her long and arduous battle with cervical cancer. Knowing that she would want everyone to continue laughing, smiling, and looking for the good in others, her family designed these custom t-shirts to wear on Christmas Eve. The shirts show that a part of Meghan will always be here and serve as a reminder for her resilient spirit.
